As an Associate Therapist at Positive Sobriety Institute, she supports PHP and IOP programming through individual therapy, group facilitation, intake evaluation, case management, and coordinated clinical care.

Melina’s clinical approach draws from Person-Centered, Dialectical Behavior, and Feminist frameworks, with specialized experience in addiction treatment, trauma, and co-occurring mental health concerns. She completed clinical training at Andersonville Behavioral Health and Thresholds, and volunteers with the Cook County Department of Corrections as a workshop facilitator. She is committed to culturally responsive, evidence-informed care that promotes resilience, accountability, and sustainable recovery.
