John Gardiner
John Gardiner is the Program Director and clinical intern at Positive Sobriety Institute. John is currently a student studying for his Master of Science in Counseling degree. John has worked in healthcare administration for the past 8 years and has decided to pursue his passion to work with people with substance abuse issues. John uses his knowledge of healthcare administration, along with his experience working with addiction and recovery in order to aid in providing the best experience possible for clients at PSI.
John believes that building meaningful connections, and promoting self-discovery are two of the most important factors in making long lasting changes in our lives. He approaches these aspects of the therapeutic process through a strength-based and solution-focused mindset. John emphasizes the importance of identifying strengths, skills, and resources and works to empower clients through the healing process.
