David Gasper, LPC, NCC
David is often one of the first points of contact patients have with our clinical team. He provides a welcoming and calm presence during the intake process to provide patients with the best possible environment in which to initially share their story. He also provides groups on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and psychoeducational groups on substance use disorders. He offers individual kickstarts on gender identity, sexual orientation, and Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. He received his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University and his bachelor’s in Social Science from Shimer College. Prior to joining PSI David was a counselor on a 90-day dual diagnosis residential treatment program and saw clients in private practice with a focus on working with queer individuals around life transitions. Outside of work David enjoys reading and discussing philosophy and provides clinical consulting for a local charity focused on service industry employees’ mental health.
