Arden Schultz
Arden Schultz, Positive Sobriety Institute
Arden is a therapist at Positive Sobriety Institute. He is responsible for coordinating PSI’s monitoring program for current and former clients, as well as conducting intake assessments with new clients.
He also facilitates PHP/IOP groups with a focus on self-compassion and identity development. Arden received their Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees at Loyola University Chicago, where they specialized in clinical practice and substance use counseling.
Arden completed their advanced clinical training at PSI, working primarily with the Evening-IOP program. Previously, he has worked in crisis intervention, case management, and trauma-informed therapeutic practice with refugees.
Arden practices from an ecological and empowerment-based orientation, viewing clients as agents of change within their identities, relationships, and social context. He believes in the transformative power of compassion for self and others on the path to recovery.
