At Positive Sobriety Institute, we don’t treat addicts for substance abuse. We treat people. Every patient receives the unconditional respect, care and focus of our multidisciplinary team of experts while at our substance abuse treatment facilities. Our board-certified physicians and licensed clinicians take an evidence-based approach, combining medical and holistic therapies to heal the mind, body and spirit.
With an average age of 45, our patients are typically adults with established careers and family responsibilities. We understand there's a tremendous amount at stake. Our team is dedicated to helping each individual achieve lasting recovery from substance abuse and rebuild their lives.
Positive Sobriety Institute offers medically supervised outpatient detox, as well as inpatient detox for more severe cases as the first step to substance abuse treatment. We are committed to making detox safe and comfortable.
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) combines the rigor of residential substance abuse treatment, while allowing patients the flexibility of returning home at night.
Independent Living offers residents a therapeutic, structured and nurturing environment where they can prepare to return to life after substance abuse treatment.
With day and evening hours available, the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers substance abuse treatment in a comfortable and convenient location.
Positive Sobriety Institute’s comprehensive assessment program is a compassionate, advocacy-based evaluation that can be used to determine fitness for duty. Our experts assess addiction, medical and psychiatric issues to develop a substance abuse treatment and recovery plan for each individual.
Positive Sobriety Institute works closely with regulatory boards, referring providers and employers. We connect patients with aftercare services to prevent relapse and ensure a successful re-entry into the workforce and family. While we focus on licensed professionals, we also welcome others in need of substance abuse treatment.
We combine many years of experience with the latest in addiction science to provide a range of effective and innovative therapies that heal the mind, body and spirit. Our patients also benefit from our close collaboration with the Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.
