Monica Connelly, LCSW, CADC
Monica is the Director of Family Therapy at Positive Sobriety Institute. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Monica believes in a person centered, strengths-based approach to address the unique therapeutic goals of the people she works with. She believes in recognizing the inherent resilience it takes to survive trauma and addiction, and transitioning that energy to support a life in recovery. Monica also believes in utilizing family therapy to bring in the insight, perspective, and feedback from the people that support clients to challenge the more harmful patterns in place and bring the whole family into the recovery process. This is of great benefit not only to the person in treatment, but to the people who have also been impacted by their addiction.
