Jeff holds his Master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University and is a Licensed Social Worker. Currently, he is a therapist at Positive Sobriety Institute, with experience working in a community mental health outreach.  Jeff specializes in treating a diverse range of individuals with substance abuse and/or other process addictions, anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, trauma, shame/resiliency and PTSD.  Jeff uses a psychodynamic approach integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral and Mindfulness into his approach.  Jeff is EMDR trained and uses trauma informed practice with clients.  Jeff works with his clients to address shame, emotional dysregulation and trauma in a safe and welcoming clinical environment.  He is committed to helping his clients reach their maximum potential by providing empowerment, support and encouragement.
